So glad to have you pop in here. Just to let you know, I'll be looking for comments from you...just go to the place after the post that says COMMENTS and click on it and write a note and sign your name and click on anonymous, if you need to and then we will all be able to see what you wrote. If there is abuse on this level, then I will have to approve all comments before they post, but hoping I don't have to worry about it.
As Libby reported below, we headed into J-town on Friday for some great food and music. I was going to see Point of Grace, because I know them and they have wonderful music and have had for years... and lots of other people were headed in for that other guy...Jason something or other...
After introducing Jason Castro as the warm-up, and listening to him sing, I wanted to head back into the lobby to get HIS cd. His voice and style of singing are very nice and I don't watch American Idol, so I didn't know he had a huge following from there. The whole dreadlocks took a little adjusting, but it works for him so...!!!
Then Point of Grace came on and WOW!! It was music that I have loved for quite a while and some newer stuff. They were gearing up for a Christmas Tour, so the snow that we had, put them in the mood!! When I grow up, I want to be just like them....their voices and the harmony...could have listened all night...oh, wait....I DID!!!
Can't wait to see you all on THURSDAY night at ABBE CHURCH...Note the change in location and date. We're starting to adjust to the Basketball schedule, so please bear with us. We also have something special planned for the NOVEMBER 30 meeting.... SO remember to do your homework of Esther 2, write something on your prayer journal and bring it along with your Bible...we are going to have a GREAT TIME TOGETHER....
